I found Dawson Electric from an online search. The quality of the (consistent) reviews was the reason for booking. I have often found that when I call a tradesperson or trade company, I can often be left waiting for the call back. However, the team at Dawson were almost immediate. I received a call and emails discussing what I needed. I was also pleasantly surprised that I was able to get someone to the property within 7 days. The team who did the install were excellent. They installed the new induction stovetop, swiftly and left the space clear, clean and tidy and even took the old cooktop with them for disposal. I would highly recommend their services.

After finding Dawson Electric on a google search this morning, I read the reviews and decided to give them a call about getting an electrician out asap to fix some internal and external lights, a light switch and a fan at our home. I was pleasantly surprised that the customer servicer operator was able to set me up with an electrician for this afternoon. I reached out to Dawson Electric to complete some extensive work on my property. The price was actually cheaper then what was quoted and the price was very good. They called prior to arrival and were able to complete the work 1 week from the original quote. The workman were both professional and kept checking in while I worked from home to make sure the lights were in the correct position etc. And then apologized for interrupting me (this was completely fine). The whole job was done in a speedy manner without the cost of workmanship. Overall I’m happy with the total service provided and will use Dawson Electric again.

We engaged Dawson Electric to install new suspended LED panel lights from a 4m high suspended slab ceiling (not easy!), install new exterior sensor lights, install a new kitchen power outlet and finally install a new induction cooktop. Dawson Electric did an excellent job in performing some switch panel re- wiring/consolidation/ reorganization at our home. They were honest from the onset when assessing the required work and not over quoting for an upgrade that wasn’t required. They suggested just a few breakers could be replaced with modern ones and circuits spread out which would also free up more space. The Electrician that did the work was top notch, friendly, professional. The work was of the highest quality. He tested everything, made sure everything was labeled well, troubleshooted a circuit that a previous renovation had incorrectly done, and left the home as clean as when he arrived. Dawson’s pricing is honest, well detailed, and not over priced. I highly recommend them.

THE STANDARD Today I had the pleasure of meeting Bailey onsite to upgrade and install new hard-wired smoke alarms. I was 15 minutes early but Bailey was onsite before me, setup and ready to go. Immediately he provided some advice in relation to the number of smoke alarms, which I agreed. A quick call to his office and an updated quote we were able to go ahead with the install. This is the second time we have used Dawson’s for residential electrical work. Originally we met Dillon when he was sub contracted to do the electrical work during our kitchen renovation. Yesterday we had some more minor electrical work done by Joel and an apprentice. The work was completed as required. The exposed wiring was neatly finished and the work site left spotless. We’ve had Brad and Patrick from Dawson Electric come out a couple of times in the last few weeks firstly to fit a new hotplate and oven and complete an electrical check through our house and then to replace all of our halogen lights with LEDs, replace the insulation on some of our wiring and fix up a powerpoint. The replacement of the insulation on the wiring turned out to be easier than what was originally forecast so they reduced the price that we had to pay for that task which I think shows a lot of integrity as we wouldn’t of known otherwise. They were extremely friendly and answered all of our questions. We had a couple of changes to our original statement of work and Brad was only too happy to make those changes for us even though it meant he had to head back to the office to pick up some additional equipment. They were very quick to provide a quote and we found their prices to be very reasonable and all of the work was done to a very high standard. We wouldn’t hesitate getting them back to complete any other electrical work we have and wouldn’t bother trying to find anybody else. Thanks.
